what you must remember about me is that i'm terrible

okay so actually i HAVE been working on the second part of hades and persephone but here’s the thing: i wrote it from persephone’s perspective, and i hate it. i think the whole thing has to be from hades’ POV which is annoying because what were all those words for!!!! but sometimes you have to kill your darlings. terrible but true.

It took him a few days to gather his courage, but eventually, in an Uber on the way to JFK for a trip to London to meet with some potential investors for Roger Mango, Francis braced himself and called Cecily. He figured if it went to shit and she yelled at him, at least he could console himself by being out of the country and not having to see her for a couple of weeks. 

To his immense surprise, and slight chagrin, she picked up on the second ring.
