i got SHORTLISTED for a LITERARY PRIZE, can you guys believe???? i wrote the most Chilliad Sappho coded book i could imagine writing, which is to say, do you guys remember in 2021 when twitter was like "omfg some teenagers hexed the moon"? well i do and i was like hm. what if i wrote a little story about some teenagers who hex the moon and are surprised and dismayed to realize that it worked?

also what if it was four best friends who are obsessed with each other and are on the precipice of losing each other to growth and life, and what if some of them were lesbians? and what if they had to decide whether or not they were going to commit murder???

so then i wrote that book & ali smith was legally obligated to read it.

imagine if saff, helen, dite, and athena met the moon and the moon was a real bitch. that’s what this book is about.
