The knock, when it comes, surprises Dité by being gentle. No one ever knocks gently in this house. In fact, people rarely knock at all; Helen always just lets herself in, and Dité has come back to her room multiple times to find Athena in her bathtub. Which, while it is true that Dité indisputably has the best tub in the Delta house, is rude.
